Katalyst Tutors offers an expanded suite of educational services that support and enhance the education of students through personalized, one-on-one, in-home tutoring sessions with experienced and highly qualified mentors. Tutors will effectively support academic coursework, organizational skills, and standardized test preparation endeavors by creating custom plans providing short term or year-long guidance for students from kindergarten through high school.

Academic Tutoring

Even the brightest students may need guidance or support from time to time with a specific topic or the organizational skills needed to meet with success. Katalyst meets students where there are, spending time getting to know each individual in order to design a customized academic support program. These programs can be as straightforward as providing structured homework help or as complex as designing programs of study to support students in non-traditional learning environments. We have tutors who are skilled in working with all levels of students from kindergarten through high school.

Standardized Test Preparation 

Our experienced tutors can help guide your child through the daunting standardized testing process. We can create a range of personalized programs that fit your needs, from proctoring practice tests to a complete test preparation strategy. Tutors are available for both college and private school entrance examinations.

Extended Academic Program Design

Take your child's education beyond the classroom walls! Taking a family trip or traveling abroad for extended periods of time can provide students with the opportunity to gain valuable experiential education. We are experts in the design of academic programs for those times when students are away from their traditional classroom. Tutors will communicate with your child's teachers to help design and execute the most comprehensive program to take advantage of local learning opportunities while maintaining the rigorous academic standards they are accustomed to and ensuring that integration back into the classroom is as seamless as possible.
